Pricing for secondary keys can vary based on a number of factors including age, manufacturer, availability of aftermarket/OEM keys and access to the appropriate software and licensing. Pricing ranges from $120.00 - $1,600.00, with the vast majority of client being able to get a key made for around $200 dollars.

Dealers typically work with hourly minimums so if it takes an hour and ten minutes your being billed for 2 hours. Secondly, OEM keys are expensive, and the dealer puts mark-up on them as well. Lastly, when have you visited a dealer and not had additional work done because they "found an issue".
